Hotmail is a free and popular email service from Microsoft. You need to create an account to use this useful service. After successfully registering, you sign in to your Hotmail account to send emails to relatives, friends and partners.

How to send and receive email from Hotmail – step by step instructions

Receive email

To check your new messages, you sign in to Hotmail account and go to Inbox in the left menu or check more at Spam (be careful to open email in this section)

Send email

Step 1: Sign in to your account at



Step 2: Click on “NEW” in the Hotmail toolbar to start writing an Email


Step 3: Fill in the information

– Complete information: Email address of the recipient, Title Email (subject), Message content.


Step 4: Insert an attachment in email


–  Then type your message


Step 5: After completing above steps, click “Send” to send your email


After the message is sent, you will be taken back to Inbox. To check the sent message, you look in the Sent Mail in the left menu.


If you don’t want to or can’t finish an email right away, you can always select “Save draft” from the menu at the top and come back to it later.
